Alena is a singing piano player, a member of the Alena Veretina Quartet and Tango Underground Fiesta. She specializes in jazz, pop as well as chanson. Her favourite artists are for instance Aaron Parks, Esbjörn Svensson Trio or Avishai Cohen Trio. Alena studied music at the Conservatory in Pardubice and Jaroslav Jezek Conservatory. She was taught by Irina Fojtíková - Kondratěnko, Matej Benko and Ondrej Kabrna. She cooperates with Eva Kriz-Lifkova and Zdenka Trvalcova. Alena usually plays either just by herself or with her band at all types of events across the country. She may also be heard as a musician in the orchestra of the musical Mamma Mia.
